Working with animals means you must be capable of identifying health problems that can go unnoticed to the untrained eye. This is the primary goal of this course – to empower people in the animal care industry to take care of animals the right way. The course provides a sound foundation of the role and responsibilities of pet owners, those working in animal care and veterinary care to learn the basics of animal health care practices.
If you have a love of animals, the Certificate in Animal Health Care at QLS Level 3 Quality Licence Scheme is ideally suited to you. Qualifying in this course will open the door to finding many exciting opportunities in the animal care industry, and will give you a role that is purposeful and rewarding. The course focuses on key topics such as taking care of your animals, how to identify animal behaviour and respond to it, basic first aid for animals, routine health care for animals and rehabilitation of domestic animals.
This course has been endorsed by the Quality Licence Scheme for its high-quality, non-regulated provision and training programmes. This course is not regulated by Ofqual and is not an accredited qualification. We will be able to advise you on any further recognition, for example progression routes into further and/or higher education. Method of Assessment | In order to complete the course ‘Certificate in Animal Health Care at QLS Level 3’ successfully, learners will take an online multiple choice question assessment. This online multiple choice question test is marked automatically, so you will receive an instant grade and know whether you have passed the course. |
Certification | Those who successfully complete the course will be issued the Certificate in Animal Health Care at QLS Level 3 by the Quality Licence Scheme. |
