Chlorination is one of the most modern forms of water disinfection. However, using this form to disinfect water requires extensive knowledge and skills, which is why this Diploma in Modern Disinfection at QLS Level 4 (USA Standards) has been developed to help interested people master modern water disinfection. Whether you are in the water treatment industry, environment science industry, sanitary engineering industry or environmental engineering industry, this course is all you need to get up to speed with chlorination in no time.
This comprehensive course will thoroughly brief you about chlorination, the importance of chlorination in water disinfection and the history of chlorination to get you started. You will get to explore the fundamental basics of the chemistry of chlorination and the byproducts of chlorination to understand how it works, followed by modules that will provide insights into the disinfection essentials and disinfection byproducts.
This course focuses on improving your knowledge about oxidation chemistry and the oxidizing agents that play an equally important role in disinfection. In order to complete the Diploma in Modern Disinfection at QLS Level 4 successfully, all students are required to complete a series of assignments. The completed assignments must be submitted via the online portal. Your instructor will review and evaluate your work and provide your feedback based on how well you have completed your assignments. |
